The CITB SEATS Course has been designed to meet the basic environmental knowledge that the sub-contract chain are required to prove to major contractors, The course will bring the delegates' environmental training and sustainability knowledge up to date by giving a thorough overview of the subject, relevant legislation, and industry best practice.

It will enable delegates to identify, control and minimise the environmental impacts of their work and where possible identify environmental improvement opportunities.

  • Statutory nuisance 
  • Water management and pollution control 
  • Resource management 
  • Soil management and contamination control 
  • Waste and material management 

 

Assessment

  • There is a knowledge test at the end of the course, with 25 questions.

 

Certification

  • CITB
  • Certification is valid for 5 years

 

CITB Short Duration Course Grant: 

  • Tier 1
  • £60 on successful completion of the course

  • The course could be added to a Skills & Training Fund Application  OR
  • The course could be funded through the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Employer Network
