Course Content:

  • Principles of Risk Assessment to Improve Health and Safety
  • The importance of safe manual handling
  • The importance of working safely at height
  • The risks to health in construction
  • Working safely around plant and equipment

 

Assessment

  • There is a knowledge test at the end of the course, with multiple-choice questions.

 

Certification

  • NOCN Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment.
  • Certification is valid for 5 years.

 

CSCS Green Labourer Card

  • On successful completion of the course, this is an eligible qualification for delegates to apply for their CSCS Green Labourer Card. 
  • Delegates will also need to pass the CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test.
