Course Content:
- Principles of Risk Assessment to Improve Health and Safety
- The importance of safe manual handling
- The importance of working safely at height
- The risks to health in construction
- Working safely around plant and equipment
Assessment
- There is a knowledge test at the end of the course, with multiple-choice questions.
Certification
- NOCN Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment.
- Certification is valid for 5 years.
CSCS Green Labourer Card
- On successful completion of the course, this is an eligible qualification for delegates to apply for their CSCS Green Labourer Card.
- Delegates will also need to pass the CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test.
- The Isle of Wight CSCS Test Centre is at 48 Lugley Street, Newport, PO30 5HD.
