The C&G 2377 Portable Appliance Testing Course addresses the 1989 Electricity at Work Regulation 4 (2) which requires that ‘as may be necessary to prevent danger, all systems shall be maintained so far as is reasonably practicable’.
It is recommended that candidates for this course have an amount of electrical theory knowledge, so that they can participate fully in the course and undertake the practical test to evaluate their ability to conduct testing.
